Physical Properties:

Dimethyl malonate is a colorless liquid with aromatic odor. Slightly soluble in water (1g DMM soluble in 50ml water), and not miscible with ether, and oils, melting point is -62°C, boiling point is 180.5°C, relative density is 1.1540(20/4°C), refractive indexes is 1.4149.

Use: This product is the intermediate which used for medicine cefoperazone acid derby synthesis, spice and pesticide.

Packaging: This product should use plastic drum or iron drum in packing, 200kg net bulk shipment. Or container, tank wagon in packing, 100kg net bulk shipment. Or according to the user’s requirements and also conforms to safety rules/standards valid in our country in packing.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry, ventilated warehouse, packaging must sealed, abstaining from moistness. DMM should be kept apart from antioxidants, reductant, active metal powder, alcohol, etc, use explosion-proof lighting and ventilation establishments. It is forbidden to use equipment which is easy to produce spark. To ensure fire safety equipment and emergency treatment are inspected at regular intervals. Product should be prevented from solarization, humidity and rain, away from fire, heat source and high temperature zone.
