It as large, transparent crystals or crystalline fragments, or as a white crystalline powder. Its solutions are acid to litmus. It can be transparent after weathered in air. Relative density is 1.757,melting point is 92.5℃,the PH value is 4.2 in 1% water aqueous solution. Losing all water and be burntalum which is white powder when the temperature higher than 200℃,It is insoluble in alcohol, but is freely soluble in glycerin. |
