This product is widely used to make oil-soluble octyl phenolic resin, surfactants, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, additives, adhesives and ink fixing agent.

Appearance and properties: White flakes, combustible, a slight odor of phenol; relative density (water = 1): 0.941; boiling point (℃): 280 ~ 283; Flash point (℃): 138; Solubility: Slightly soluble in water, miscible with ethanol, acetone, etc..

H. Storage conditions: 

It should be stored in a cool, dry and lucifugal warehouse and kept far away from fire and heat source. The warehouse temperature should not exceed 40 ℃. Keep the packaging is sealed. It should be stored separately with oxidants, strong bases, edible chemicals, etc. Avoid mixed storage by all means. Explosion-proof lighting facilities should be adopted.

Explosion-proof ventilation systems and equipment should be used. Attentions should be paid to preventing its vapor from leaking into the air in the workplace.
